Re: Importing husbands from abroad

when you import "husbands" ... where do they stay? become ghar-damads. and what does that do to their ego? plays with it. and how does that end? in a divorce!

make sure the shipping is tracked, otherwise the imported husband may get lost in the way (somewhere in UK/Dubai)

Re: Importing husbands from abroad

My husband moved here from pakistan after we had our nikah. Our ruksati was 5 months after he moved. he started going for masters immediately and I work full time so the arrangement worked out fine.. In our case my husband is very hard working and masallah has done great in school and soon insallah he'll get a great job and ill be able to takec are of my home and family.. I don't think there is anything wrong with having a husband migrate but you must be willing to sacrifice and give them time to start fresh and insallah fture will be bright.

Health hazards and reliability issues make importing from China not be a good idea. Made in Pakistan is okay as long as you don't meddle with the firmware too much.
