Majority of Muslims and the four school of thoughts are of the view (based on many many ahaadeeth) that Syedana Isa:as: never died and he is alive with his physical body up above in the heavens (just like Adam:as: and Hawa:as: used to live before coming to this earth) and that he is not hiding but will come down during the time of Mehdi:razi: and will die eventually of the natural death and will be buried in next to Prophet:saw:
