I'm married in theory! But my word i don't feel anything, don't remember the wedding, even looking at pictures etc???? Fell like it was one big dream and im going back home soon. Im posting this from the Maldives, no im not sad! Really! Should get professional pics when i get back so will put them up soon! I miss home so badly and I think what is the life of a woman, leaving home and her family???????????????????????????????????????????????? For the past 18 months i was so wrapped up in plans that when the day came i just fell numb???????????????? I think all the emotions kick in after and the realisation sets in..................................................im not trying to depress just some womanly thoughts girls xxxxxxxxxxxxx chat soon xxxxxxxxxx

Haha, well you don't know me as I have never actually posted here, but reading that....sounds familiar. My sister, my cousins, they all said the same thing. It takes a while to settle down and for things to feel "normal" again, I guess. Maldives! How was it? That's where I'm going for my honeymoon as well - though my wedding is still somewhat far off (December). I've started the preparations now though. :)

congrats! big changes in so little time, so its natural to feel numb about it! things will settle down once you get back home. in the meantime, just enjoy yourself and enjoy these special days with your hubby. marriage is a beautiful thing, may yours always be filled with the best of it. looking forward to the pictures :)

this is exactly what i am going through as well... up untill honeymoon everything felt like a dream but right after we came back and got back to work....thats when the "real" life started.... i am still so depressed. but insha-Allah soon everything wil fall into its place ... hope you feel better soon

Abt the part of not feeling married, don't worry it takes time for the reality to sink in...:) .... for a couple of months both my hubby and I felt like we were 'living' together or playing pretend house...lol.... he couldn't believe I was his wife and I was also like are u really my husband.... it will come may it be the most wonderful feeling in the world. Aameen. :)
