lol, I liked a friend of mine..I told him and ended up losing the friendship too...:/ The worst part was that this person did it so i dont get hurt. Even worse was that he knew things like these dont hurt or bother me.

C'est la vie...

Point: I don't knowwhat one should do. I regret losing a friend but am proud of keeping my honesty.

OMG. same here. Waaayyy back when I was at uni I really really liked a guy friend of mine, which I would have loved to have married as well (cos he was looking to get married). I ended up telling him how I felt about him (cos i wanted him to find out from me rather than our stupid friends) and he just laughed and make a joke out it, and never really addressed it with me. I still talking to him every now and then, but I havent had a decent conversation with him since that day, and we're not really the same friends at all, i only see him if he's with other friends of mine. Lost a really great friendship which is sad, and im pretty sure he became distant with me on purpose because he didn't want to be seen to 'lead me on'.
What annoys me is that I'm over it all now (it was about 4 or 5 years ago now), im inshallah getting married next year and he still doesn't talk to me much anymore. I want to shake him and say 'trust me i'm over you' but then he'll just run away more. stupid man.
