If you find 100 dollars on your way

Re: If you find 100 dollars on your way

Re: If you find 100 dollars on your way

well STP, even if i get to see loony or toony that will be a huge thing, where as usually no one accepts $100 bill so chances are i wont gonna recognize it, and i also wont gonna pick it up.

usually i do get to see lucky pennies (well i do look at their date of production nerd in me), otherwise i did donated a nickel (10 cents) to our local library, which i saw lying on the road.

but if i find any $100 bill, i dont think i gonna pick it up…even though i did pick up once a chem book (which was around $150) on the bus stop and give it to the police…

but i wont gonna do it again.

ps. credit card ka zamana hai bhai…:smack:

Re: If you find 100 dollars on your way

Agar muje 100US road par nazar ayaiN, this is what I will do

...left dekho...right dekho...phir peechay mur kar...phir zara idhar udhar...and jaise hi koi banda na dekh raha ho, jaldi say zameen par jhuk kar pakar looN, aur jaise hi paisay hath mai hoN, zor zor say bhagnay lag jayooN, jitni bhari paisoN ki amount utna hi taiz mai dhorooNga, ya doosra tareeka ho ga, chup kay say normal tareekay say chalooN jaise maine koi 100US nahi uthaya.

Re: If you find 100 dollars on your way

I am not sure about the religious perspective on this matter, but I have heard from someone that one should stand there for sometime and wait for the person to return. If no one comes, leave it there. May be he comes after 2 hours or so.

The moment we touch the money, it becomes obligatory on us to find the owner, so leave it. Whatever happens to it later would not be our responsibility as we did what we could.

About donating, I am not sure. Aren't we suppose to donate from our own money, only ?

I don't have authentic source to support my idea, so I might be wrong.

Because most people aren't... especially gupshup par tou bhool he jao, its all about "dekho main kitna/kitni nice hoon."

Would you donate $100 if you didn't find it on your way? No. Why would you donate something you FOUND? Wouldn't it make more sense to donate something YOU EARNED with hard work? WOuldn't God appreciate that more than something you just found on the street, which belongs to someone else anyway?

Actually now that you have brought it up, I have donated to charities over the years with my own earned money.

Isn't that so nice. What a wonderful feeling it is when you donate your own hard earned money to charities. Love it.

When you find $100 on your way, its God's donation TO YOU. Use it well.

I'm searching for $100, so that i get some ideas on what to do about that

have you forgot this saying

"Daane Daane pe likha hai khane wale ka naam"

so i will take it as god as given it to me, lol kitna smart huon mein

last time once some one lost cell phone in a parking lot
i called some of the contacts on the phone, later when she called me i told to come to my place and collect it and later she came and collected it

I dont know what I will do.. I have never seen big amount of money lying around on floor, other than the pennies, nickels/dimes and once in a blue moon, quarter. and well, most of the time I m in a hurry and I don't look down when I walk... look striaght up ahead.... ohh once I found a dime in class, gave it to my teacher, and he told em to keep it. lol So I don't know what I will do... As far as nickels/dimes are concerned, I always leave them there...

On three different occasions my husband or I found money in big sums. Two times rolled in bundle of cash and one time a heavy wallet. Now returning a wallet is easy because of the licence and other form of identification but cash is a different story. We both waited at the spot that if anyone returns for it but you knw one can not wait for all day. So the next best thing is we returned it in the lost and found area of the mall. But it is tricky because you never know if the person at lost and found counter goona do his job or the money will end up in his wallet. I felt sorry for the people who lost the money and remained disturbe for few days thinking did the rightful owner get it or not?

Abroad it's best if you hand it in @ your local Police station. In Pakistan, Police station is the last place you should look to leave lost property.
