Re: If you could choose??
I dunno man… Every time I think of an ideal place… this thought just takes me to my past. It’s not Karachi, it’s not my home in Karachi which is the part of my most beloved memories and I do want to go back in time and live that life again… free of any tensions or responsibilities… BUT the most cherishable moments for me were those three months in Madinah Munawarah that I spent when I was 7 years old.
Month of Ramadhaan. When we used to go to Masjid-e-Nabawi:saw: after Sahoor… I still remember the scene of Green dome from the window of the apartment we used to live in.
After Fajr, and after saying durood-O-salaam on the Roza-e-Aqdas:saw: we used to come back… I remember it was such beautiful days. around noon, we used to go to Masjid again for Zuhr prayer… then used to go in As’r and then we used to break the fast in Masjid…
Those were the days… Taraaveehs in Riyaadh-ul-Jannah and the feelings of Rehma all over around you…
Then, coming out of Baab Al Majeed or Baab An Nissa, we used to eat that “Samooli” with camel’s meat or sometimes that Yamani paraThaa…
Will never ever forget those.. My life is written on the template of those three months…
That life was the real life.. too bad, it only lasted couple of months for as if I was alive for only three months. Really.
