I actually find myself pleasantly surprised by Bilawal. He's actually stepping away from an opportunity to be close to power out of concerns that the party is not taking Pakistan in the right direction - a rare demonstration of actual concern for the country by a Bhutto.

The 'Bhutto' brand has been denigrated by Zardari to such an extent that it seems like Bilawal has tried to take an extended time out. They have constantly used the name as a marketing tool, first by appending it to Bilawal's name, then by naming every nook and cranny in Pakistan after bhutto or benazir. People were bound to get fed up of it eventually.

Bilawal's hiatus might be the only way to refresh the party, if at all they intend to survive.

Why you speculate this? People here also say that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was most corrupt politician, and you know that they were absolutely lying.

Not that this statement is a surprise, but it is sad that our political parties hold the same monarchist thoughts that are displayed by monarchies around the world, where the 16 year old son of a king is referred to as the next king without any vetting process, rhyme or reason.

I would not be surprised if Bilawal sidelines himself from PPP and the Bhutto brand sooner rather than later. The party has fallen into a sinkhole and its resurrection looks very like a very difficult and long drawn process.

You are right but lt is due to many reasons . Democracy is not allowed to work here , Education is kept away from the public and many other reasons . I see some truth in the news as it is not denied by the Billawal himself . It could be the biggest blow to PPP and President Zardari at this moment .
