that is so true.
and when someone is ready to allow that connection and still the other person acts aloof, that is really a disappointing thing.
life is short as it is, with strife and stuggle for upholding good and integral selfhood. why do people act delibrately in a selfish and hurtful ways, is something best known to them.
the reminder in this poem, to be kind, considerate, responsible and be thoughtful is very clear.
