If a guy gets married at 35 ...

Re: If a guy gets married at 35 …

As long as the 35 year old marries someone close to his age…there shouldn’t be any generation gap issues. I know a few men between 33-36 who’re single…and 28-29 is their minimum age requirement for a wife.

** Disclosure: Of course this does not mean that every single marriage with a large age gap is a disaster.

Actually this is the only *negative" thing I could think of. My FIL was in his early 40’s when they had hubby (there is a 10 year age difference b/t FIL & MIL). Hubby is the youngest in the family, always says that by the time he was in his teens/college…his dad was in his mid 50’s+. FIL simply didn’t have the physical stamina to do many of they other physical activities that hubby saw his friends doing with their dads.

Of course part of this has to do with whether or not the man chooses to stay in shape through regular exercise and healthy diet. Perhaps it will be better with next generation but these days, so far I don’t see most desi men (30+) being diligent about being active/living a healthy life as they age.
