Gemsbok are a subspecies of the Oryx genus but from the photograph, I’m inclined to say its an East African Oryx as Gemsbok are larger. Ofcourse the photo is cropped so I can’t tell for certain but I’m pretty positive.
The other species are the Arabian Oryx, which have a white coat as opposed to the brown one. Scimitar Oryx (Again whiter coat) and the Gemsbok, which are related to the East African Oryx but larger.
