Ideas needed.... Gifts for relatives in Pakistan..

Re: Ideas needed.... Gifts for relatives in Pakistan..

Cash? as a gift? wouldn't that look cheap? or wouldn't people feel offended?

Re: Ideas needed.... Gifts for relatives in Pakistan..

Nope. My parents have done that many times and nobody gets offended. It's a more flexible alternative as you don't have to worry about taste and preferences, so it saves the time and hassle spent on shopping. Plus, it gives the recipient more freedom; like a gift card. For the relatives my parents don't buy gifts for, they'll give money.

Apart from that...shoes, purses, make up, jewelry, open fabric for sewing clothes, shirts/sweaters, etc.

I get bath and body works stuff (US only I guess) for folks that I’m not as close to. Wristlets are very in these days - I bought some for my nieces and they loved them. You can get them for $20 and up.
