and btw why dont you outsource the cooking to the closest friends? and only make one dish at home...if he smells the cooking and sees that a room is locked he will definently get suspicious!!!
you could also just order the food from outside (catering) and just enjoy the day with ur hubby..
surprice him in the morning with a nice breakfast and flowers and let him think that was it;)
