How many people go see these matches, just wondering?

I don't know how many people go to watch these matches in the ground.
But I did watch an U19 WC a couple of years ago. Saw Razzaq bowl the same guy with excellent inswinging yorkers four times - three of them no-balls. Back then he had a fair bit of pace in him. :)

can anyone tell me if under-19's is worth watching? i know it's an ind/pak match but i don't want to watch a duleep trophy type of thing...

like I said before, I saw Pak play some team a couple of years back in the U19 cup. And I saw Razzaq bowl in that match and he was quite the pace sensation then. It was after his excellent bowling in that match I started following his career. So, yes, you might see a couple of stars before they announce themselves on the international stage.
But I haven't seen the Duleep trophy so I can't say if it would be better or worse...
I never knew there were two backup openers in the U-19 side. Shouldn't have sent Jahangir Mirza two wickets down in the last game! Riaz Afridi has been economical, Khalid Latif has lead the side well. Extra runs figure has been overall good which means the bowling department is much better than batting!
Now comes "keep your emotions intact" part. Semi-Final setup against arch-rival!
** SEMI-FINALS U/19 Cricket World Cup 2004**
Feb. 29th Super League Semi-Final 1: India v Pakistan
Feb. 29th Plate Championship Semi-Final 2: Australia v Ireland
March 1st Plate Championship Semi-Final 2: Bangladesh v Scotland
March 2nd Super League Semi-Final 2: England v West Indies
But I haven't seen the Duleep trophy so I can't say if it would be better or worse...

tks, I'll give it a try.
I mentioned duleep because i'd seen one of it's matches on tv and it didn't have the flavor an international match does. but tomorrow's match should be better than that.
Oh help! I've just watched 10 overs of india batting and if these bachas are going to fill dravid, sachin, ganguly's shoes then we're in trouble. Are the days of glorious Indian batting over? I've never seen such bad, waffly Indian batting.
Pakistan bowling seems to be very good. Is this Afridi dude really 19? he looks 29. well, doesn't matter. our batsmen are terrible. plus it seems the best bat Rayudu is banned. we're losing this one. :(
