Re: ICC Champions Trophy 3rd Match: Oct 17th, Pakistan V Sri Lanka, Jaipur
Let's look at our team. Umar Gul is still carrying the improvement he gained over the England tour, Rana Naveed is a bit off colour, but a good bowler nevertheless. Rao is not as bad as we thought he was six months ago and never really got a chance to play except as a temporary replacement, Abdul Razzak is decent, and Afridi, Hafeez and Malik are good spin options for India and West Indies where the world cup will be. Add Yasir Arafat to the mix, and it seems that although we won't have a lethal bowling attack anymore, we still have one that can play at the international level, and we can hope to do well through our batting prowess (if it clicks).......
just thinking about how to minimze the psychological loss from doping situation..

I don’t think Rana is still the same as he used to be. He is forgetting his line and no wonder he is getting thrashed. Like in this match when Jaysurya started thrashing Rana was all over the wicket, he seemed so helpless didn’t know where to bowl or what line to bowl.

Of course the game is not over and so his carier but what I am saying is he lost the touch that he had when he burst on the scene. And by the way I am not just taking this match into consideration when I say he lost the touch, look at his past game as well nothing really to talk about.
