Similar thing happened here.
I was at work and it was like 6. We usually leave around 4 but we were getting late because I had to mail some documents and the mailroom was about to close. Everyone was waiting for me to finish the mail and hand it to the mail guy but I couldn’t find it. Supervisor said no one goes home until we find it and mail it tonight. I couldn’t find it, then I started checking the envelopes I had already sealed and I found it in one of them. This one old lady came to me and said “You get an F for the day”. It ticked my clock off! Nobody cared for ALL those days when I worked accurately, but one day I accidently misplace the damn letter, everyone is coming to give me an F and those looks
