make a short shirt with short sleeves and trouser n scarf of it if u want a trendy look .:k:..
or long kurta and choridhar pajama wid a long dopata for a tradtional n eastren look ..it will look really nice .

Below is a copy of my response to some questions Sara516 asked me recently with regards to where to begin.

Yes i did attend a fashion school, i studied at the London College of fashion where my course involved learning the know how from fashion drawing, ie. drawing techniques to fashion sketching, ie. garment/accessory/footwear, infact to put it in simple terms, majority of the course is structured as follows. ie.
Design development
Range planning
Illustration
Styling
Garment construction
B*****ng & promotion
Sourcing garments, fabrics, beads and trimmings for your collection
and then the course concludes with a project.
Upon completion i then under took a 2/3yr Honours Degrees in Fashion Design and Development.
I design/fabricate asian aswell as western wear. :)
Well it's not necessary i would say, during my time i met many people and attended many fashion shows generally to get a niche of how the fashion industry is run from the design phase to the completion of a product aswell as the marketing aspect.
Some of my friends who work with me never attended any fashion college of any sorts, for some it can initially start out as a hobby and lead to a profession, the reason i studied was that i was also into western wear from a young age.
Short courses are available, they generally be for like 8-10 weeks, where you learn the basics and you can also in-coorporate other short courses depending on what you want to learn.
I don't have my own boutique has yet, i only graduated last summer, although me and my friends do plan on opening our own store within the next 18-24 months and inshallah i plan on having my own clothing brand within the next 5 years.*

yeah i desinged a shirt on a piece of paper, but then a put a big X on it...so that shirt was obviously a failure..

yea .. designing comes after cutting
once u are accurate in cutting u can design very well
