I'm sure love exists...not to the extend that we all see in bollywood movies, but I'm sure you can show a certain level of affection towards someone. There's different types of love; towards our family, another kind towards our friends, so there must be a type of love towards a certain someone. Don't tell me that after being married to someone for 50 odd years, you can't love them! Now that's BS in my opinion.

No one can make themselves fall in love. lol. It just happens. Sometimes people confuse falling in love with infatuation though. Infatuation is when your just obsessed about someone and u want to be with them badly. Love, on the flip side is unconditional- you can't help loving them even if they commit mistakes, you care about their happiness more than your own, you put them before yourself, you would do anything for them even if it means giving them up for their happiness. Loves when you still love someone even after they leave with your heart. In love, you become selfless- you cry for your partner rather than yourself. Gosh, there's so much more to love than infatuation, right? Yeah that's because infatuation fade away with time while love lasts for a lifetime. :)

Beautyqueen is right, Love does exist. It's a mind blowing experience. It's hell and can destroy you.

You lose control of yourself and cannot stop thinking about that person. The other person's well being becomes more important than yourself. You make a fool of yourself.

Stay away if you can help it.

I think the key is...be open. And meet as many people. Sometimes out of your culture and religion. You'd be surprised what is out there. ;)
