Re: I want a BOY now…

baat yeye heye mard bhai.
mard ko jo bhee kaho, iss ko chubta heye.
setch bolo tow wohh ukherta heye
jhooth bolneye walee mil jayee tow phir dant seye apni hee zubaan peesta heye, ya iss ko bey derdee seey maar dalta, iss kee humiliation kerta heye.
beychara mard.

instance: aik aisa mared jo apni beewee ko yeye khe deye,
‘tum kaam per jao, wapes’ (a few days after child birth), phir kaheye, 'aik baby Pakistan bhejh deina heye, takeye wohh dada dadee keye sath paleey aur tum inn ko peiseey bheijho (of course betcheye kee pervarish keey liyey aur…)
, phir boleye, ‘tum night shift ker tee ho to w tum bed kirdaar ho, phir kaheye ’ baby sitter jawan kyoon nahi rakhee?’

mard kee pastee keye bareye meye. aur kutch biyan karoon?

mazah keye liyeye, i know, you are a good person… bringing n humor in this topic that men blame women for not been able to have a male child.

but, the allied complex and one of the horrible truths is, even when some men have sons, they are incapable of fathering them.

Re: I want a BOY now...

sheyn,
i hope i did not take the humor out of here. i commend
k khan for touching on this topic, as a male and he simply wanted to have some light humorous discussion on and about this.
but, really, something to think about is: just how some people a whole society, moms, mother in laws, sister inlaws ... women themselves are psychologically brain washed into believing that there is something wrong with them, if they dont bring forth a male child. enough already. the ignorant people put their own personal qualities and values and lump them on, as if they are some kind of flaws in women and must overshadow lives of the women.
such exploitation.
educated women as better positioned. think of the uneducated and not working ones. who are treated far worse.
unless, a man's own sister is not treated badly over this, he does not care and some men don’t care even then. because they are so full of their own selves.
education of women and men is a must to halt this gruesome practice, that marry another woman, when one woman is not going to have a male child.
and the only way that this can be stopped is when good men will come forward in this matter and prevent others at once, from berating their wives because of not having a male child.
even today, as always, some men have very double standards. sadly.
and you know what, that is fine. they get people wrong. that is their fate.
picking up signs of honesty, bravery, truthfulness and understanding someone for the good that they have to offer, is not something that most men have learnt yet.
hope is that one day, they will and not hurt another woman
ever in their lives.

best,
Dushwari
