I think

First of all, most of the interpretations today are done using books translated in english. **Translation of a hadith or an ayah doesn't hold the same meaning as it would in arabic. **So their first fault lies here.

Secondly, Even if you know arabic you do not have the history of the language nor the how about of what the quran talks about.

I am fluent in english, but even though medical journals are written in english, does that mean I can understand what it says?

I have to disagree about political influences, as Imam Abu Hanifa r.a. was close to the time of the Sahabas as well as the Prophet pbuh.

Following Imam Abu Hanifa or other three schools of thoughts is one part of Islam, not islam itself, and many people dont understand that. They were the best in organizing islamic law, they were IMAMs of islamic law.

Just like Bukhari, Muslim were IMAMs of ahadiths. Just like there are 7 or 8 IMAMs of qirat! Similarily there are four imams of islamic law.

How do these dumbfounded people accept imams of ahadith (bukhari and muslim) but fail to accept imams of islamic law ? its idiotic!

Anyways, next time someone interprets religion by reading a hadith from bukhari and claiming to be a scholar, just ask him how many verses of the quran discuss ahkam?

out of almost 7000 verses, how many verses contain rulings for ahkam?

People don't even know the basics and they go on to make up religion for themselves.
