Anyone with even the smallest IQ knows that these honor killings have nothing to do with Islam. They actually come from our Hindu history.

PB, what are you talking about, Are you aware Pakistan is seperated from India more than half a century ago. Maybe at that time or earlier it was their tradition. But if our culture is so strong than why in 1/2 century this problem has not been eradicated. Reality check it has become our culture thing specially in Balochistan and Sindh, do not blame others for our own shortfalls.

Because our so called muslims do not believe our traditions good enough. Look I am not religious at all but do not blame others for my deficiencies. Blaming is the easiest thing a person can do. Instead of blaming other cultures/people we should try to find the solution by educating ourselves.

Honour killings happen in some other countries as well, including Jordan. They have only arab and islamic culture. But i would agree that culture plays a large part, since for instance, mohajirs are usually not involved in such acts.

Honor killings are more of Afghan - Arab culture and not Hindu culture.

There are more honor killings happening in India compared to Pakistan. In big cities like Delhi and Bombai, Hindus kill their wife if she is not a virgin at the time of their marriage. There is this "sati" where wife has to commit suicide if her husband died. Thank god, our Punjab is saved from these evils.. Only Sindh has Karo kari and Wanni.
