I dont think your forehead is too small for side bangs, I think a 2-3 inch trim, side bangs and some layers will look good and be a nice change thats not too drastic. If you are willing to go much shorter a much different look, I like that picture Daffy posted, it would look so fresh and cute on you!

Your hair needs body, that's all..side bangs would look nice and a couple of layers at the crown of u're head.
