i like texting, he likes calls.....

Re: i like texting, he likes calls.....

I am assuming that he is away from you (probably in the office) when you are txting him. Receiving txts after txts in the office looks very unprofessional and coworkers can object. I say that you fix a time with him like around lunch time and call him instead and keep it short.

Re: i like texting, he likes calls…

Re: i like texting, he likes calls.....

b/c you talk on the phone for a purpose and when the conversation ends, it's done.
texting conversations linger and you hear annoying beeps when you've moved on to something else.

why is everything an issue with u nadz?

Re: i like texting, he likes calls.....

Maybe he wants to hear your beautiful voice. :)

Re: i like texting, he likes calls.....

^But he didn't sound thrilled enough at her voice. So, what's next? He didn't laugh loud enough, he didn't hold me long enough, he didn't praise me as much, he didn't blush deep enough, he didn't mean it hard enough. Poor guy can't catch a break.

Re: i like texting, he likes calls.....

How do you want him to sound: Nadzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! How are you girlllie? Missss you <3<3<3
(like a fake girl)

Re: i like texting, he likes calls.....

IMHO, texts are simpler. quicker.
demanding essay type text is difficult. and carrying a conversation in text holds no merit.

texts are to be short and sweet:
love you
will pick up grocery
take care
please turn off the gas when headed out
etc etc

and

"ok"

best text ever.

Re: i like texting, he likes calls…

I prefer texts as well. You can think before you say. :cb:

He too isnt much of a phone call person so its good to go. We both are from the IT field so we prefer any mode of typing - sms, chatting, whatsapp anything ..

Re: i like texting, he likes calls.....

Nadzz, I see one innate problem with every thread of yours & the situations you describe.

You have way too many expectations from your husband. You completely aren't in fault for it since women usually set their expectations to the standard that is in the initial period of their relation. Men usually are lovey dovey initially and thats where the high expectations get established.

On the other hand, you need to realize you've been married for a long time, you did have an engagement period, you knew him as a cousin since ever and now you have 2 kids with him. You are no longer in the teen romance period where hearts go dhak-dhak, stomach has fluttering butterflies, the voice of some one takes you to cloud#9. He is over that phase and you still seem to be sticking to that. You know itsy bitsy of each other and that's why the charm that you expect in the relation isn't there.Basically, he is a nice person but over the singing songs period so overall you need a reality check. Simple.
