Listen Bhola, everyone in the world likes different people! You don't see everyone liking the sane player do you??? Well anyway talking about the Gretzky topic, I think HE IS THE GREAT ON and no one will ever beat him but he can't lead his teams he played for besides Edmonton to a STANLEY CUP, and don't say the players on the team suck because they don't!!! NEW YORK IS ONE OF THOSE VERY GOOD TEAMS AND THEY COULDN'T EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!! HA! Los Angeles came close ONCE!!!! ONCE!!! And got ass wiped by MONTREAL CANADIANS. Basically he needs to show that he can take the team to the top, if he can't I don't know why he should be prassed NOW'a days. People like Yzerman more becauuse he was the youngest captain around to play and has the longest streak of being CAPTAIN. Oh and one other thing. New York is a full of stars and Detroit, well I wouldn't call Detroit a STAR TEAM besides just a few big guys that's it. So why can't Gretzky do it anymore. I know what your going to say, GRETZKY TRIES BUT HIS TEAM DOESN'T. THE EUROPEAN PLAYERS ARE THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD BECAUSE THEIR NOT ROUGH AND THEY SKATE FAST AND VERY GOOD. They score more and don't play rough, most of them. I was still happy when the Czech's won the gold. BURE IS A VERY GOOD PLAYER AND SHOULD BE TREATED Like thaT in VANCOUVER!!!
Yo Naseer, I am so sorry to hear that u were cheering for Russians. The whole country was cheering for team Canada and u were the only traitor in the country. It just pisses me off when i hear about traitors. Liking the russian players is one thing.... but to cheer for the russians...that is rediculous. One more thing...some of those russians might be a little bit more skilled then some (SOME) canadains.... but they lack the canadian desire and the will to win. I am sorry to say that u don't sound like a real canadian. Where did u learn to play hockey? or Do you even know how to play? See....the thing is hockey is a rough sport and if u can't handdle the little rough stuff then u should stick to games like baseball. I play in a hockey league....and I love the rough stuff...without the little rough stuff...it wouldn't be as much fun. Well i wasn't born in canada but I always support the canadian team in any sport....no matter what. U also said that Rangers have lots of big name players...can u name some besides Gretzky, Leetch, and Richter (Pat doesn't count). Only thing i agree with u is the Potvin situation. I think Potvin and cujo are almost similar...cujo might be a bit better but no more than 10-15%. Leafs should have got a goal scorer to help sundin.

I didn't like standing in the sun for 4hrs.....it just takes my whole day. I would rather play games like Squash or tennis or best of all hockey for few hrs then play cricket for 6-8 hrs.
Well said Bhola. Naseer is saying Gretzky sucks "NOW". Well last year Gretzky had more points then Steve Y...I guess that would make him even worst then Gretzky. I would take Gretzky over Steve Y anyday. See the problem Gretzky bashers/traitor is that they compare Gretzky to him self (old gretzky) The fact is that he was one of the top 5 points leader in NHL and people are saying he sucks. THEY ALSO WANTED JOE SAKIC but never got him. HAHA. and now they wanted BURE! HA. Basically in my view their aiminig on the whole NHL players. I also played hockey BUT HAD TO QUIT BECAUSE OF MY STUDIES! I still play for fun. I WAS LOOKING AT NHL.COM IN JUNE AND IT SAID..... DETROIT REDWINGS TEAM OF THE 90'S! DETROIT REDWINGS ARE THE BEST TEAM. HOW SWEEP IT IS!!!!!!!! Oh and another thing Detroit won with not as much stars as New York has.... Steve Yzerman, Sergei Fedorov, Brendon Shanahan, Nickaluas Lidstrom, Larry Murphy, (used to have Mike Vernon), OSGOOD ISN'T GOOD!, Vyachlav Fetisov, Igor Larionov. That's it. THEY DID IT TWICE! Without Vernon. THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT HOCKEYTOWN!!!!!! Gretzky is also one of those light hitter players. NOT LIKE TIE DOMI. Naseer you have your valid aruguments but whatever you say, BURE sucks, not as a player but as a person. He is tooooo SELFISH and he is not a Good Team Player at all. All he wants is money, and he did get the respect from everyone before. Only recently Mike Keenan doesn't like him but that doesn't mean you turn your back on your fans and team. ALL THAT LOSER WANTS IS SOME MONEY, THAT'S ALL!!! And one more thing, what did he do for your Russian team, hunh??
