and about spelling... its an Arabic word, there is no dictionary word for it, some pronounce it as Ramzaan, and some do Ramadaan, some may call it Ramjaan as well as **Anwaar **stated above...
but its getting on nerves of people nowa days a lot, just leave it, and try to write it in Arabic or Urdu, ... there are only 12 months in a calender *leezed *:-p :-)
