okl the area i live in in birmingham is a well known asian area(no it is not alum rock) and it really saddens me to see kids who r just 12 or 13 and they rt doing weed and hanging in shop corners.it is kind of intimidating as well cos they all be such big groups that if u r alone ...
well anyways there was a drugs raid on my road also and a few of ther ppl got arestted.
we have tyo sort out ourselves and maybe their wont be such racism

So basically what you're saying is that rich asylum seekers such as Benazir Bhutto are all nice and well but when it comes to actual refugees from poor third world countries, thats when you have beef. Nice!
And I'm not quite aware about UK's immigration policy but I'm sure the number of immigrants who arrive in UK and contribute to its economy greatly offsets the number that comes and feeds off of welfare or indulge in criminal activities. What you're doing is putting people into two strict categories: Professionals and criminals. In real life, this isn't possible as a drug dealer by night could be a store clerk during the day. This is obviously an extremely simplified example but you should get my point. The fact of the matter is that there are countless factors involved and its not as easy as deporting someone who you consider to be a social liability.

You make good points...my comment was a bit off...I agree with your comment about immigrants not being able to raise their children properly and their children ending up becoming these bums...bengalis seem to feel that their daughters need not succeed anywhere except at home...bengali girls have the wrost literacy rates in england for instance...the youth in the UK are a problem not just with immigrants but generally amongst the lower classes so i take your point...Youth cant be blamed but you can blame the adults...

Good point...as for the UK immigration service we are all extremely angry becuase there are a large amount of immigrants who are dangerous criminals and have committed crimes here roaming the streets...there is uproar as to why they were let in...surely you agree that we shouldnt allow someone with drug dealing charges or armed robbery charges in their own country into our country just because a stupid human rights act suggests they may be in danger in their country becuase of the crimes they have committed...
Im not speaking about mass people...Immigrants do contribute a lot of good but there are a few that ruin it...we dont have the power to reprimand natives but with immigrants we can...

I agree that its annoying that immigrants/refugees who dont work but get all the benefits in a welfare state. Lekin u have to draw a line here, lots of refugees come from countries where they have been tortured, watched their closest family members/friends die or even worse (raped etc etc.) Lots of them escape from their country while rest of family is still there, and they dont have a clue if they are alive or in what shape they are. Dont u think going through all this does something to a persons mental state.. If u look at them they look perfectly healthy, but try to be around them and try to talk to them and u will know how disturbed they are.
But i do agree there are immigrants and refugees that are healthy and should contribute.. i am just saying that as all of us refugees are different and individual ppls too, some of them manage to cope with the crises they have been throug, but the majority struggle a lot with flashbacks.

I'm oddly in a position to comment on this myself. I would agree that the immigrants that come here, do nothing and claim benefit are a waste and a strain etc. However, I think the problem here is that some families are from the Biraderi mindset and for sure some households (particularly in the North) bring over their extended families which stresses the whole situation, since many of the people are illiterate and cannot work. This in turn can give rise to poor living conditions and sub standard environments for kids to grow up in. Trouble is a lot of illiterate Mirpuris migrated over. That illiteracy is slowly being stamped out, but the second and third generations are still behind. Most of the rest of the Pakistanis were professionals that came over. I think the Gujertais in the UK tend to be the illiterate religious zealots (tablighi types).

human rights prohibit such kind of "double standards"
instead of focusing on recent immigrants straying from right path, european countries should not avoid any longer the necessary debate of "right" child rearing and the absence of proper parents education/raising in some houses ...
this uneducation is the core of ciminality problems, and very closely related to "poverty" (illiteracy, joblesness....)
sure it's cheaper to expell illegal immigrants and foreign criminals, and it will gain politicians lots of % in the next elections...
BUT it won't eliminate criminality and lazyness or poverty depressions....only a education system providin core knowledge to have a free mind and be a responsible person, and a vocational training available to any jobseeker, could tackle those issues

Lebonese, somehow are labeled as dishonest and trouble makers.
And yet when I was in New Zealand - the British immigrants were known as the 'whinging pomps'.
Perhaps we, as humans, find it hard toi accept people of a different culture.?

naugty, u cant just use immigrants living on the bottom of the society and be anti-immigrant. for every bum immigrant there are 3 bum locals.
since im more aware of american workforce i would tell u that its a commonly accepted fact that american born workforce is lazier than the immigrant counterparts. 40 hrs of work is tiring whereas an immigrant worker could easily put in above 60. so while it pains me to see a few bums come through... immigration overall has been good for US. if anything i would like to see more done to stop procreation of idiots who keep voting for a complete moron in jesus land.

Valid point loll. But it's also true some of the descenadants of the immigrants are lazy bums, they in turn give immigrants a bad name as by look they'd be classed as immigrants.
