Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
I love my religon a lot but don't practice it to the book. I keep away from haram and I spread it as much as I can....
I had sat down to eat with 2 people and prophet muhammad (pbuh) was on the side praying while all of us watched him. After he was done he came up to me and said there is burkat when you eat together. I then woke up and couldn't believe it.
We were all sitting on the floor and the place I was in wasn't a house but looked like bricks all around us. Like a cave but shaped out as a house. I don't understand what it all meant and why did I have this dream??? I really don't know why but I would def. seek answers. Can some one tell me who I can contact through email or call!??!
Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
I have also dreamt about the Prophet Muhammed PBUH.
My dream is as follows;
There is a big congregation and there are millions of people waiting, I enter the place where all these people are and people are crying, they are emotional and they are apprehensive. I ask,'what is happening?' They answer with 'He is coming, He is coming' I am so confused and I say 'Who?'
Then someone responds and tells me that the Prophet Muhammed PBUH is coming. I don't believe and tell them that he is dead and that he cannot walk on this earth because he is no more here. I walk out of that place and right in front of me I see a man in while attire, rosy face, a beard and large forehead and deep brown eyes. He has a white turban on his head. I know it's him and I start crying with love and passion. He looks at me and smiles, then I touch his right cheek with my right hand and rub my right hand all over myself.
Then I woke up, I was sweating and crying when I woke up and I prayed.
OH and I had this dream when I was regularly saying my prayers as well...
Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
As far as i know, "SubhanAllah" is said on something strange, and i have heard arab bros. saying it while hearing something bad. Can anyone make it clear to me?
Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
Assalamu Alaykum.
Can you please explain your entire dream? Perhaps someone can help you after you give the full details of your dream; if you don't mind. If you just say that you saw our prophet in your dream, it doesn't tells us much. It's WHAT you saw or HOW you saw him matters the most when intrepreting a dream.
Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
No, you can say subhanallah whenever you want. Its basically saying, "All Praise belongs to Allah", which is totally valid in this case, because this dream is definetly a gift from Allah.
Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
if one sees the prophet in his dream and the prophet says 'Dont worry, I will be looking after you' and soon after that the person faces a major tragedy, what does that mean. just curious
i also read somewhere that one should not share dreams openly..dunno whats the basis of that, what does that mean.
what if you see a dream in which you become shaheed?
Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
Dont know about this one, it could mean anything..he'll look after you when you need his help most..i.e. on the day of judgement..when he's gonna request Allah for everyone else's forgiveness...or it could be his teachings and sunnah which will become a source of guidance for you..because him helping you in person in this life, weather physically and spiritually is out of the question, since the dead have no interaction with the living.
And the tragedy that follows, it could be that that tragedy becomes a source of your forgiveness on the day of judgement, because its a hadith of the Prophet that trials and tribulations wash away sins, or it could bring you close to Islam. May Allah make this possible for all of us.

One shouldn't share bad dreams openly. However good dreams, which are mere glad tidings, should be told like how one spreads a good news. This is an actual hadith.

Well then its a good dream..and chances are its from Allah, you should hope that it comes true.
Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
And this is what we call a dumb misguided brain limiting the power and attributes of the Prophet :saw: given to him by the Almighty.
The following verses of the Holy Quran prove this. Allah Ta’ala states in the Holy Quran:
**
“And if when they do injustice unto their souls, then O Beloved! They should come to you and then beg forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger should intercede for them, then surely, they would find Allah Most Relenting, Merciful.” (Para 5, Ruku 6)
“And what they felt bad, only this that Allah and His Messenger has enriched them out of His grace;” (Para 10, Ruku 16)
“And O Beloved! Remember when you did say to him whom Allah bestowed a favour and you have bestowed a favour.” (Para 22, Ruku 2)
The Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, “I am the one who distributes and Almighty Allah is the One who gives.” (Bukhari; Umdatul Qari)

Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
Dear Brothers and Sisters
Assalam-o-Alaikum
Congratulations to all of you who ever had the honour of having a vision of Hazrat Muhammad (MPBUH). I would like to add my humble thoughts on the subject. You are 100% right that it is a blessing of Allah Almighy to have such a vision. My teacher, and my mentor, Hazrat Sufi Bashir Ahmad once told me that any one who has such visions, should offer prayers of **Shukrana **after wards. It is agreed upon that anyone who sees Holy Prophet (MPBUH), has actually seen him, as Shaitan cannot take the form of Holy Prophet (MPBUH).
Holy Prophet as Bashir-un-wa-Nazir-un
Any one and even non-Muslims can have these visions but the conotations are different. Here are some views which I read in Ta'abir-al-Roya by Allama ibne Serin (RA). Generally it can be of three types.
Visions by Pious Muslims; Means Basharat of salvation in Hereafter (Bashir).
Visions by ordinary Muslims; Means a clue to become good Muslims.
Visions by Non-Muslims; As a Basharat of becoming a Muslim in future (Bashir) or a warning of Allah's wrath (Nazir).
I will try to summarise the general guidelines for the envisioning of Holy Prophet (MPBUH). If the vision or dream is seen;
By someone who is sick, means that he will attain Health.
By someone who is in debt, means that he will be free of debt.
By someone who is encaged or imprisoned, means that he will be free.
If seen in an area where Holy Prophet (MPBUH) is angry, means that the people of that place in question are not adhering to Shariat.
If seen in a deseted area where people are calling others, means that the area in question will be populated again.
If seen in a Mosque, or as ill or sad, means that the person is not having a stong faith and should try to pray more.
If seen as giving certain fruits to someone, means he will be guided in his deen.
If seen as feeling sorry for someone, means that he might end up in kufr.
If (ma'az Allah) his funeral is seen in an area, it means that Islam will be finished in that region, or a great tragedy will occur in that region.
Holy Prophet as a Mirror.
If seen as having some flaw (ma'az Allah), it points to a flaw in the deen or shariat of that person.
At times the Holy Prophet in a vision tell or denote about ones personality. There is an incident that once a man came to Hazart Imam Jafar Sadiq (RA). He asked about the Tabir of a dream where he saw Holy Prophet (MPBUH) telling him to drink wine. The tabir which Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (RA) told him was that he was a drunkard and it was a warning from Holy Prophet (MPBUH) for him to leave all such vices.
The general concept among scholars is that anyone, who has these visions, should not tell it to anyone except those who are pious and have some knowlegde of **Tabir*,*as the interpretatiuons of Vision are different for different people.
Re: I had a dream and our prophet muhammad (pbuh) was in it
Respected Brother
Regarding your first querry, there is a Hadith quoted by Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA), that Holy Prophet (MPBUH) said, "Anyone who has seen me, verily he has seen the HAQ, as Shaitan cannot come in my shape". Another one goes like this, "Anyone who sees me, will not see sadness and worries, verily, the TAWIL of my vision is salvation in hereafter". So if anyone who after such visions faces a tragedy, it can have following meanings;
1. That Holy Prophet (MPBUH) will look after that person after that tragedy.
2. Or Holy Prophet (MPBUH) will grant strength to that person to withstand the aftermaths of that tragedy.
3. Or that tragedy is actually from Allah and the patience which that person will show, is a sign of his salvation in the hereafter.
Regarding your second part, I agree with you that such visions should not be told to anyone except those who are pious or who know sometnig about Ilm-ul-Roya i.e., interpretation of dreams.
Regarding your last part, the Shahadat has different interpretations. e.g.,
1. Literal interpretation is that the person will attain martydom in the way of Allah.
2. Another interpretation is for those who are fighting against Nafs and are attached to a spiritual silsila. For them it means that their Nafs-e-Lawama will attain martydom and it would convert into Nafs-e-Mut-ma'ina.
3. Another interpretation is that the person will have a long life.
4. Another interpretation is that the in hereafter, he will be with Shaheeds.
