Re: I don't appreciate it!
May be that blind man was not wearing clothes, he was not covered properly ? For the sake of respect for the family of holy Prophet I cannot be graphic. I agree , this story has many loopholes.
I'm pretty sure this story is from a weak hadith passing from numerous speakers, so i would probably say that Propher PBUH in his great wisdom would probably have never said anything like that to Hazrat Aisha. After all our Prophet was a great logician as well.
Re: I don't appreciate it!
Queen provide a proper # for this hadith so i may look it up in my hadith book.
Re: I don't appreciate it!
it is, "Once a blind man asked for permission to enter Fatima's (Her Holiness) house
but she kept a veil between them. The Messenger of Allah (SAWS) noticed her
(Our Lady Fatimah (SWT)) actions and asked:
Why did you (Her Holiness(SWT)) keep a veil between you (Her Holiness (SWT)) Messanger of Allah, it is true that
when he cannot see you?"
Her Holiness Fatimah (SWT) answered :
he cannot see me (Her Holiness (SWT)), but I (Her Holiness (SWT)) can see
him and he can smell my (Her Holiness (SWT)) fragrance.'
At this, the Prophet (SAWS) said : "I bear witness that you are part of me".
(Book `Fatimah the Gracious' Pg 187)
so queen u need to correct yrself bt dont worry we learn with eachother and still we get ur point next time make sure of quoting any holy incident.
Re: I don't appreciate it!
let me explain if i can, I do not oppose to discuss the genuine issues like molestation, virginity etc, ONLY IF discussed in a positive manner. see, here I am talking about those threads, which have nothing to do with the reality, or/and society! threads like, i dont want to name them here but you just search here and you will differentiate between two different threads related to s*x, one which was a real issue and should have to be discussed and other.. opened just for fun! (you can find more examples) with silly questions and posts! now thats what I meant!
I dont think an explanation was needed since I said the same basically :)
...On one hand I personally am tired of chaska threads which are intended as just that
....although looking at post after post from individuals gives a good idea of whether there is serious intent or just some further twisted version of chaska/khwari combo and it speaks volumes about the individuals.

Re: I don’t appreciate it!
hmm lots of people are here with different minds and different views. some of them take such matters and issues quite normal, and for them, it might be OK to discuss these matters among people. In a real life family gathering, you can’t even afford to hear (specially if your family is there) the discussion going on. BUT in public forums, you can simply avoid these topics by not clicking to see what’s in there. no?

No, because I again say, such topics when discussed in a decent way are fine, as we can not deny the fact that such bitter realities like molestation, rape etc have become the part of our society and when I click some of the threads, such things are discussed in a funniest & ridiculous way! I never said CLOSE the threads, I wrote for THOSE who turn such a serious topics the funny ones and also sooo openly! I said what I felt like.
Also YOU are here suggesting me to avoid them, or giving your own point of view, can I ask why did YOU do that?? you could have not replied to my post if you think I am wrong! but still you did, because thats what you felt! same did I!
