about the dissection-we had to do that too 
and this one chick in my class refused to do it and she had to write a HUGE report on animal abuse/testing, i dont know how that works- like on one hand teachers are making you dissect things and on the other they are making you write reports on animal abuse :halo: like WTF
i still remember how our labroom stunk till the end of the school year:bummer:

i disected a cockroach . a frog and an earthworm
of which i liked the earthworm the most .. it is clear like water.
but i ate my lunch after diseecting a cockroach without washing my hands
i cannot forget the feeling …eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. :yukh:

what exactly did you learn from the dissection? nothing i hear you say?
its cruelty to animals 
i cant believe they made you do that. cant your schools/universities afford the real size models of the different animals organs…you would learn alot more from them.
I’ve done biology all my life up till this point im still doing it. next year insha-allah I’ll have graduated in pharmacy…which involves plenty of biology etc…but ive never ever been made to dissect an animal. its horrible especially since u dont learn ANYTHING from it at all -not at school age anyway…
all the guppies who have posted saying you dissected the animals…at your age you only need to know that the brain is roundish etc…that’ll be enough for u to pass 
dont need to dissect anything 
its a waste of a life…for pleasure. mean people

Ewww i could never do a cricket, cockroach or something like that ew ew ew ew! frogs are k, the only thing i disected was in yr 8 and 10 and that was a liver from the grocery store:(
