Re: I could Kill him when…

I guess there’s a silver lining in every cloud :chai:

Re: I could Kill him when…

OMG, Sara, saieen and 714 you three are so funny:cb:
couldn’t help giggling reading your convo

Re: I could Kill him when…

Yes many men do that, including me.

Some issues cannot be solved i split second, and when you have are tired and you have to go to work the next day, thats the only sane thing you can do.

Re: I could Kill him when…

Now you see why I kicked mine.. you’re young – you have no idea what MEN are capable of.
MUAHAHHAHAHAH

Re: I could Kill him when…

I personally tend to over analyze everything that was said(or screamed back and forth:D) and so I don’t understand how guys can turn their backs towards us and just fall asleep. i guess they have a special mechanism in their minds that just shuts down their brain for the night.

Re: I could Kill him when...

After being married for entirely too many years the best advice I can give you is to take a page from his book and not get too hung up on whatever it was that you were fighting about. I am sure that it affects him too, unless he's an insensitive jerk, and he's probably exhausted by the entire drama.

Sometimes the best thing to do after a fight is to leave the scene - go to the library, go shopping, take a nap, or read a book.

Re: I could Kill him when...

^^ hmmm we don't fight that seriously.
Like in this latest scenerio - I was pissed off because he went out with his buds and said that he'd be home by 2 and didnt come home till after 8..
punk that he is!!!
Muahahahhahah

Re: I could Kill him when...

Mine does the same- difference is that we fight over the phone since we are not married yet. I can be crying and all pissed and he will say, can you please stop crying? I am sorry.. ok I have to go sleep now. And I am like What?! I do NOT think so! And he'll sigh and be like, but I HAVE to sleep. It is soooo annoying. But regardless of that, I still keep him up even though I know that he's totally disinterested. Sometimes he just ignores it and goes, okay talk to you later, love ya, bye. But I just keep calling back and waking him up because if I am not gonna sleep in peace then I won't let him either. After that I just make it a point to piss him off until he sits up and goes, OKAY then let's solve it! And then starts the analysis- he sits and analyzes WORD by WORD. That's when I start wishing I had just let him sleep because it's like being a part of an investigation. I always tell him that he should be a lawyer instead of a doctor, why waste time in medical school when you're such a stubborn arguer. He seriously will get on your nerves with the arguments till you'll just give in and say, OK YOU'RE RIGHT, I AM WRONG, just end it already!

Re: I could Kill him when...

I agree...

Re: I could Kill him when...

We rarely fight seriously, I guess what I am advocating is that sometimes these little issues are much more benign than they seem at the time, so sometimes it's best just to let it go and take a break from one another. A while back when India and Pakistan were playing, the dh stayed out all night at a friend's house watching cricket. I was steamed, because he promised to be home by midnight. Instead of starting an argument, I just left him to make his breakfast and babysit while I went for coffee and shopping with my friend. I never had to say a word, but he called to say sorry about the time he started to get hungry for lunch, LOL! Arguments can be so counterproductive!

Re: I could Kill him when...

well muniyaa..at least he falls asleep and doesn,t turn around and fight..i don,t know which one is better??

Re: I could Kill him when...

hmmm
you're so right lekin I dont have that much patience.
I need to get it out of my system and then Im over it.

Re: I could Kill him when...

ARGH!!!
I duno CoCo B.. I just dont know.

Re: I could Kill him when...

a healthy argument is never a bad option.
i too prefer to spit it out rather than keeping a grudge inside me. An unexpected overflown bucket is a bigger mess than the usual spills.... Just my POV

Re: I could Kill him when...

what can one do other than sex and sleep on the bed

Re: I could Kill him when...

that's understandable that men and even sometimes women feel the need to just let it be but many times if the issue isn't dealt with right then, many men just forget about it and it resurfaces over and over again which is not good for the relationship and psychologically not so healthy.
