If you go for SUV, stay clear from Dodge showroom lot. They have the most dangerous products except for Cherokee. Journey 4x4 is affordable but is worse than a Corolla in snow, the car has no weight balance and spins like a monkey in a tiny bit of snow.
I have only leaned towards Jeep wrangler and that is because of my brother's friends stories like how he ended up in ditches and just put the lever in 4WD and rest is history :)
GM has improved, or perhaps it is the image, but even the govt doesn't talk about Chrysler, which was saved along with GM, so something must be amiss here. I have been driving Hondas pretty much, so I wanted to diversify and have heard good things about Ford.
Has anyone got experience with Ford especially SUV's / hybrid SUV's?
BMW is expensive as hell to maintain and I assume Mercedes would be like that as well as it is German too. My uncle was telling me that Volvo cars are also equipped with 4wd which is a rarity here.

Well I drove almost each and every new car in the market today due to nature of my previous job and found new fords showed tons of improvements but still no competition with Japanese when it comes to reliability. Volvos are also expensive to maintain but they are good.
Re: I bought my very FIRST car!! yayyyy!
That’s the best avalon I’ve seen so far.

It's not only cherokee, Dodge Ram is still holds the spot as the top pick in trucks.

Congrats, MA it's very nice. I'm looking for a new one these days, drifting more towards accord! Bechari Calgary ki cars, being tortured by this brutal cold...Brrrrrrrrr It felt like -25 today on my way back from work urghhhhhhh
Buy a Subaru, it has the best suspension, the roads are awful there you need a tank for that weather, Even my Aspen and Benz had suspension problems.

Now I know where you park your car
Re: I bought my very FIRST car!! yayyyy!
camry's are great reliable cars and toyota has one of the best reputation when it comes to holding its cars value. As long as you keep getting the regular maintenance of your car, change the engine oil at a regular interval, check brakes, keep a look out on the tire air pressure, and just drive it maturely, this car will run for a long time.
I personally haven't driven a toyota yet. But will consider a 2013 and above avalon. I personally like the front of this newly shaped camry, but not a big fan of its tail lights. Though, everyone has their own preference.
If I were to choose between 2014 honda accord, toyota camry, ford fusion, mazda 6, or hyundai sonata, my personal pick would be Honda accord(touring), followed by fusion, camry and mazda 6. Accord will my choice simply because of it's great body shape, and fusion for getting the best bang for your bucks..Camry will definitely be a car to consider as well if I choose on keeping it for a long time, and want it to hold its value. Toyota is no longer considered a boring company which is only designed for old people, which once was its reputation.
Anyway, great choice nonetheless. I wish you a very safe and happy drive! ~Go Camry!~

Mash'Allallah and belated congrats on new car. I wanna get a new car as well. I am driving Honda Civic 2008. Drives good..but craving for new car now.
Re: I bought my very FIRST car!! yayyyy!
^Thanks you two!!!
I get free oil changes every 6 months from the Toyota dealership that I bought it from...and also they make sure the under coating on the car is fine...to prevent it from rusting....so everything should be good....
