so much for your 'is the same' bs. If you mean what you say, then you just wilfully insulted God with your childing upper case lowercase idiocy. grow up. This is what happens when you take immorality in the name of God
God does have many forms, does have offsprings in many avtars and does not mind being worshipped through idols. Yes idols are fabricated in fabrication shops. so what? where was Allah fabricated?
Dunno what you mean by "All Gods". However Quran is there to help you. Here is a quotation from Sura Baqarah.
**[Muslims] believe in Allah, AND (All of) His Angels, AND (All of) His books, AND (All of) His Messengers,
AND
They do not try to make one of them [Messengers, Books, or Angels] superior over the other.
(portions from 2:285)

So yes, we believe in Mohammad, Jesus, Moses and ALL other Messengers.
We do not try to prove that Jesus was superior to the Moses or Mohammad and conversely Mohammad was any superior to the Jesus or Moses.
Similarly we believe in Bible, Quran, Torah and all other books. We do not try to prove that one of these books is any superior to the other.
Based on what I hear and read about Hinduism, they were blessed by the divine message as well. So the respect of Hindu religion is of utmost importance to a Muslim.
but if u believe that christ and god and holy spirit r three and one, or if u believe that u can pray to idols and they will bring u closer to God or that God has many forms, then u can keep such gods to youself cuz u r not talking about God Almighty but of fabricated gods....
Salam Armughal,
U being the mod of the forum, whats with the small/big caps while writing Gods' names?
Hey I made it clear in my posts. I believe in God. He can be Christ/Vishnu/Allah. It's as clear as it can get. I know they all are one. Don't ask me how, but it's as strong as the faith you carry in your heart. I don't take them as three different Gods, they all are one.
As for praying to idols, yes I do pray to them too just like I pray to the Holy Koran or Bhagwad Gita. Cos in those various idols I see one God. As for various forms, in them too I see but one God. Now are u calling that God fabricated?
There's only one God, Allah.
Nothing is accepted by Allah except Islam.
Ji isi baat ka toh mujhe dar tha, ke you would change the very meaning and purpose of my thread...U see I don't believe their is no other religion other than Islam. I believe there is NO religion. Period. But I do pray to God with all the names my fellow humans call him. And I hope God, as he watches me type this...is not going to hate me for it. Infact, I hope he appreciates my point of view.
U see I read it but it gives me only the Islamic viewpoint. It quotes from the Koran. With all due respect to Koran, Im really looking at the wider perspective. To a devout Muslim the Koran may be the final word and I respect that but to a person like me, I need answers from a neutral source.
no it just means that we find peace in having one Allah alone and asking everything from him..rather than being confused in concept of multiple gods..n that is quite a satisfaction
Well it's ok ur discussing this pm here since it is in context, but still a pm is a pm?
Neway to get back to the point, Im happy that ur at peace and satisfied.
Well so am I. And I don't worship multiple Gods but just don't mind calling him by multiple names.
But again I agree with whar rviks is saying. God is watching over all of us. Well do you know whether Im Muslim or Hindu or Catholic, Jew? No, but Ill tell ya, I have complete faith in God.
If you use Kafir as a way of describing those who do not believe in Islam, then no they will not go to Hell because they too have respect and love and worship for God and their faith is as storng as yours. They just dun call him Allah, that’s it. As for those who don’t believe in any God, well again we can’t say they will go to Hell because afterall faith is a private matter: a path that a person chooses towards his/her greater enlightenment and the answers that we seek about the universe and the meaning/purpose of life. So the atheist looks towards Science for answers. We can’t condemn him for that or say he’ll go to Jahannum because we are not God ourselves.

By all Gods I mean I don't disregard someone else's God just cos I don't call Him by that name myself. Cos I know his God and mine are the same.
Again, Im not looking at just the Islamic viewpoint. Nevertheless, I appreciate the fact that you respect other religions too. Respect of Hindu and other religions should be of utmost importance to Muslim, likewise respect of Islam and other religions should be of utmost importance to a Hindu. :)
Im no authority on what we should and shouldn't do Zainab. But yes, belief in God by the name you call Him helps, but don't disregard/disrespect others' faith. I believe in God, but don't specifically call him Allam/Jesus/Ram.

Crummy, you are free to believe what you want, but do not try to tell us mulsims that God has oofsprings...He does not. To us muslims there is only One God and that is Allah. End of story. Take yourself and illegit offsprings to a board where such ludicrous ideas are welcome.
P.S. Armughal does not need to apologize for his beliefs. As a muslim he is entitled to his belief that stones and moortis are just that stones and moortis...nothing else. They never were gods or never will be. If you find that offensive be it. We muslims are not about to lose our faith to please your ilk.
^ you believe whatever you want to and that's your business. That doesn't change the fact that we believe which is to worship all the Gods that we want. And we worship the Gods in a variety of ways including statues, nature and living beings.
