the root of the problem is U..
we need to learn to take responsibilities. If we all wish to see Pakistan growing and making positive growth than we should all start with whatever little we have to improve on education (ourselves and others), religious knowledge, contribute to society in positive manner and be positive in our thinking..
sitting at home and criticizing musharaf or others for that matter won't solve the problem..

Mullah bashing has become some kind of latest fashion trend these days. If you want to be counted among liberals, open minded and enlightened ones, then you must insult Mullahs. As longs as todays' evils were pitted against "kaafirs" of yesterday in Kashmir, Afghanista, Chechnya or Bosnia, they were revered as soldiers of God, Mujahideens, freedom fighters and what not. They were trained, 'educated' and brainwashed with an opportunistic & selfish use of extreme hardcore religious ideologies to kill & get killed. And all of this was done with the patronage of government sanctioned entities along with the influence of external elements. An entire generation of such brainwashed hardcore holy warrior got consumed by this flawed strategy. Question that should be asked is what was done to rehab these hardcore extremist elements. What was done to bring them back to normal civilian life. They were trained as cannon fodder, to kill and get killed, they were not taught to have any 3rd option. Having been kicked around from Kashmir to Afghanistan, these hardcore elements are now turning against their own masters, they will consistenly need a target to aim their guns at, be it an external or an internal one.
That is why that only option is to kill them and educate their children.

I will tell you why Pakistan is in such sorry condition - it is because of people like cheeky, meherealone, gohan, teaser etc. Want proof? just read their posts in this very thread. instead of looking inwards at the problem they've convenienly blamed USA, India, Afghanistan. according to these erudite scholars, all Pakistan's problems are because of everyone else except Pakistan and Pakistani's themselves.
Army is not respected because they have become 1st rate looters who grab every piece of land and wealth. Nothing to do with USA, India or Afghanistan.
A.Q.Khan got the treatment of a dog because he acted outside of Pakitan's government and law and in the process brought great shame to his country. The price Pakistan has had to pay and continues to pay in terms of loss of international support and face is a vary major contribution of this A.Q.Khan. Nothing to do with USA, India or Afghanistan.
