a few weeks ago …

I came home from work late at night. dead tired. put myself in the living room sofa. had some more work to do; wasn’t planning on full night sleep.

as i lay in sofa with a light blanket covering me all over, i was in a strange state of mind. I felt as if I wasn’t sleeping and wasn’t awake as well. during that state, i thought to myself “i am ready to die”. i have accomplished much in life. reached the pinnacle of my career with a C level position; financial situation well and kids future safe. and many other such things came to mind and i felt fully content with my life. i was thus very curious and ready for the after life. i wanted to see whats on the other side. as if that happened there would be no remorse for dying. i was all set here and ready to go on. and then … it happened .. i am like flying somewhere .. at some sort of station .. someone asks me .. “hey .. where is your suitcase?” i looked around me and got very worried .. where is my luggage/suitcase?

and i woke up .. i was dreaming all that with my eyes open .. still “woke up” .. drenched .. thinking to myself .. i have everything for here and nothing to carry on .. i am not prepared to die ..

Ya Allah .. Rahem karian …

Very inspiring.

But this does not mean you may not have done something good enough in your life to carry on to next journey.

A lot of people despite doing great work and good deeds have this concern.

And that is what keeps people doing better.
