Re: I am happy

There are, I believe, seven stages of grief.

  1. Shock
  2. Guilt
  3. Fear
  4. Denial
  5. Anger
  6. Depression
  7. Acceptance

I think you are in the 4th stage. denial denial and denial. Those who think PCG is angry should brace yourselves, because she hasn’t reached that stage as of yet:eek:

Re: I am happy

^ If you think your MCAT is going to go better by insulting other people on the forums and digi, then lagey raho :k:

Re: I am happy

Single life with an understanding companion is great. Married life with a soulmate is ideal. Everything else should be avoided.

Re: I am happy

Everything has its place and time. I'll only settle with a companion who is serious and not wanting to get in my pants, or what is worse, wanting some timepass entertainment to chuckle at for an hour or so per day.

Re: I am happy

^ That's a wise choice.
I doubt you will entertain anyone for five minutes let alone one hour :-) j/k

Re: I am happy

Re: I am happy

Re: I am happy

Did she pay you a lot of money to say that then?

Re: I am happy

PCG, you are very right to enjoy this time. These are the golden years compared to years after marriage. Marriage could be golden too, but you never know what kind of husband you might end up with. Even if you do have the option of divorce to get rid of a bad husband, your life is never the same. Society leaves an ugly mark on you.

Keep enjoying your golden years. :) May Allah give you golden years after marriage too. Amien.

Re: I am happy

Fayz you’d be surprised

sadya: Oh comon! Don’t start saying all that - my hubby will be one fine mighty man who will have the patience of a prophet and the soul of a hummingbird and hands than can massage my aching neck muscles from being on the net for so long :grumpy:

Meanwhile I’ll use a bailan.

Re: I am happy

Insha Allah, I truly hope so for you.

Re: I am happy

I totally agree that we should not bring our own or other people personal lives in to discussions. It is just not ethical. Although there are a plenty of issues where I do not subscribe to her ideas, it does not mean that I automatically get the right to ridicule her.

That being said, you leave the field open if you indulge in similar behaviour yourself.

Re: I am happy

Good for you PCG…

Witch Dr, I think you are hitting the right note here I mean when you bring threads about personal and private issues things are bound to get personal. We shouldn’t be judging people on the basis of whether they are having this or that. This is a Pakistani Community Board we should spend less time on judging people and more on being good friends and chilling out like Mr. Bomba does all the time :d:k:

Re: I am happy

A one-way demand without the will to pay back in the same coin can not hold. I have never indulged in dragging personal lives into threads. To the contrary I have to face many who do this to me.
