Could be reflux.. does he get a lot of hiccups? That is also a sign. Also my LO had an acidic smell to her mouth and hated being kept horizontal. She’d wake up the instant we put her down in the crib. It was because the acid bubbled up to the back of her throat and woke her up, poor thing ![]()
Good news though, is that it does get better as the baby starts being more upright. It peaked at 3 months for us, but has been getting steadily better. Now at 6 mos I give her meds only as needed, which is just once or twice a week.
