Generally, Muslims are hypocrits and bigots. We just have to look at ourselves to prove the point.
The world today is in flames only because of the 1,000,000,000 kalma-go bigots. The proof is in the house, outside the house, in the neighborhoods, in the cities, in the towns, in the countries, in the world.
Mentioning what the Quran says about hypocrasy is meaningless. Everyday we proof that that Quran is wrong, we proof that the Prophet (sws) erred many times and passed erroneous ahadith.
It almost seems like it is high time for the next revision of the Quran and the ahadith to fit ourtimes..... of 1,500 years in the future.
It does no service to Islam, Allah, Prophet (sws), Muslims if the majority of the Muslims, world over, stay quiet on the unislamic practices of the Muslims but raise the banner of Allah-o-Akbar in the face of the injustices against the world. We have a responsbility to ourselves and Islam first. When do we raise our fists against the Muslims who are hell-bent on carrying in their unislamic ways in direct contravention to what the Allah (sbwt) or the Prophet (sws) said.?
Worst of the crimes are taking place in our own homes but we stay quiet.
You and I are the bigots.

no doubt you said it all...and only hypocrites are only muslims..may Allah give all us the strenght and guidence!
No, you are wrong. It has affected no body. How do you know it’s affected? The effect of what we understand Islam to be is in your person in how you react to what islam takes a negative stand on. Reminding people to read namaz on time is right, no doubt. One question: Will there ever come a time when we try to see what’s beyond the namaz, roza, zakat, haj? We are caught up in the fundamentals and the incessent teaching of it to the point that we have forgotten that anything else exists in the world.
Tow things… just to say mention some points:
What did the Prophet (sws) teach us as to how many levels of jihad are there? What level of jihad do we accept, only, today?
What did the Prophet (sws) say about teaching/passing on a good thing however small?
Islam’s teaching are far, far, larger then what the Muslims try to focus on.
A poor guy was bludgeoned during robbery. He was hospitalized. He went into coma. Within a day he passed away. We all prayed for him… o.k., that was fine and dandy. But no one had the audacity to mention doing anything else to try to, even offer to, help the family. The mother had to take the body home by buying 2 tickets over the counter. The dad couldn’t come from Pakistan since he’s a heart patient. There are enough guppies who work and have incomes. Someone even try to say that it was impossible to send $5.00 to a fund setup (which I found out by offline emails) for the guy!!! No one even bothered to show any real concern… but there was supposed concern all around and that was a nice and cozy feeling… so many Muslims so saddened for the guy.
I am, actually, happy that Nabeel has died. He’s better off for it, better then all of us who’s left this world full of people who “claim themselves to be Muslims”. Islam is proven in action not in words. Islam doesn’t prove itself but only by our actions and, still, not by claim.
The roadmap is, and has forever, been used for personal benefit/improvement. The roadmap is hardly used for the “ummah”.
Yeah, it’s fine to remind the fundamentals. Would it also, ever, be fine to remind of many other things that we are responsible for doing? 'cause when that discussion happens, invariabely, the talk turns to the justification of ones actions IF one is not doing the fundamentals. We, consciously, hold ourselves back from progress and cry about the cruel world that holds us back and subjugates us.
It IS this roadmap, in it’s very limited form, that we have put around our necks and are choking ourselves.

Don't take it personally, ?. You already know my thinking... from my offline emails to my local media. Nothing against what you said.

hain......janu bhai I said, word Hypocrite is for Muslims only, cuz these are the people who are muslims but hypocrite...they indeed not non-Muslim!
**64. The hypocrites fear lest a surah should be revealed concerning them, proclaiming what is in their hearts. Say: Scoff (your fill)! Lo! Allah is disclosing what ye fear.
And if thou ask them (O Muhammad) they will say: We did but talk and jest. Say: Was it at Allah and His revelations and His messenger that ye did scoff ?
Make no excuse. Ye have disbelieved after your (confession of) belief. If We forgive a party of you, a party of you We shall punish because they have been guilty.
The hypocrites, both men and women, proceed one from another. They enjoin the wrong, and they forbid the right, and they withhold their hands (from spending for the cause of Allah). They forget Allah, so He hath forgotten them. Lo! the hypocrites, they are the transgressors.
Allah promiseth the hypocrites, both men and women, and the disbelievers fire of hell for their abode. It will suffice them. Allah curseth them, and theirs is lasting torment.
** [Surah AT-Tauba :9 ]
Do hypocrites commit rape? Do hypocrites murder? No. Stop speculating and get back to reality. We are'nt talking about murderers and rapists - there is a line - and you of all people should be aware of it. And for the sake of being nice to you, no I hate not the person - I hate their crime.

Okie dokies. But if I recall you brought up rapists, and thus derailed the thread. I tell you to get back on topic, and you accuse me of derailing. Good work - liar.
Only believers will love you and only hypocrites will
hate you!"
What the Prophet said about those who fight, hate, or abuse his
Ahlul-Bayt

“Loving Ali is the sign of belief, and "hating Ali is the sign of hypocrisy.”

The subject here is Gheebat, which has been debated many times in the forums eg here](http://www.gupistan.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=85523&highlight=gheebat). Everyone is guilty of commiting Gheebat, actions such as ridiculing/criticising a freind or family member behind their back is a form of gheebat. Each person must learn to distinguish from what is right and what is wrong. At the end of the day one must remember that the Hadiths are guidelines for us to follow which help to keep us on the Right Path.
