One should be earning a minimum of Dhs5,000 and should have a flat contracted in his name.

I heard that the minimum salary requirement for sponsoring a spouse has been increased to AED 7,000 recently. Don’t know whether that is true though. I personally don’t think it’s feasible if you earn less than AED 10,000.
