I also thought people would have no issues with people acting in each other’s industries. Then i went and read comments online on fb, social media, and forums. Most people don’t mind but some do. Maybe they are only 5-10% lekin they are loud 5-10% online.

I don’t know why you are concerned regarding the reputation of your community. I don’t think she is going there as an elected representative is she? If she was going there as a minister or representing Pakistan in some sport then you should worry. She is going there for herself. I’m quite sure most Indians don’t think Rakhi Sawant or Mallika Sherawat in Hollywood represent their community. There are lot of idiots online who if they want to say bad about a country or community they will find a way. I’m guessing people say use word “Indian” for Sunny Leone and others like her. Thing is every person in the community can’t be controlled so i don’t see point in getting attached to an actress and thinking she represents the community. She is not reading the comments it’s not going to change her actions. People say things about Indians based on bollywood but i feel its not something to get affected by. Ignoring is best way to go. By getting affected by it you just give the issue more attention and publicity which is what they want.
