We may not realize it, but we are constantly judging others. First impression/appearance of people, their dressing, most importantly how they talk. Knowingly or otherwise we make an image of that person and sometimes treat them accordingly i.e. we will be very friendly with some people and not that friendly with some others. Someone could strike as an arrogant and/or ignorant person, but after a conversation we realize that we were wrong. I believe it happens with all of us. Judgement is a natural process, it is the process of taking in the information we gather from our surroundings and processing it based on our experience and knowledge. Sometimes we are right, sometimes not.
Judging excessively is the problem. And judging people out loud in presence of other people, discussing people, and labeling people without really knowing much about them - these are the flaws of mind and character.
Very well put Jaanwar .. Often I see people claiming tht they dont judge others and neither should they be judged ... I feel, that may be a slightly materialistic approach , coz we are not living in seclusion, how we behave, how we come across to others has an affect on those around us... and hence its extremely important to know how we are being judged or perceived by others ..
It only helps us all become better human beings at the end of the day.
