Almighty Allah says in Chapter 66 Verse 6: “O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.”

I invite you all to please share here how we may protect ourselves and our families from a fire (hell).

Try to raise them in a manner that will make it easier for them to follow deen. So encourage them to pray/fast before they are required to, teach them to read Qur’an. Encourage them to keep good company and stay away from bad company. Teach them the value of doing good deeds through home taleem (of faza’il). Have them spend time in the environment of masjid (mostly for boys) and work to establish a good environment in the home as well.
