i think, it is not ok to pray inside car. i think if thing is belong to you then prayer ruling suggest not to pray.

but in case of aeroplan, you can pray.

i will suggest him to ask masla from qualified scholar.

Weather usually is pleasant here so most of time he prays outside its just once in a while he prays in car like if its getting qaza and in summer he usually comes home and than pray his Asar.
