Hmmm. I am wondering if that young girl you are about to marry is thinking and seeking advice about the same thing- how to keep the husband under control and under my jootee!
Haha, well she has a head-start on that one for sure. I swear it's in women's genes to keep men under their jootee. So i'm trying to level the playing field and maybe even get an upper hand.

Well being sensitive to her needs and demands defeats the whole purpose of this exercise. I mean what if her needs/demand conflict with what I want? I somehow want to have my cake and wat it too.

Every desi husband wants two things that i said in my first post. I'm new to this game, therefore im asking the older people here to share thier tips with me.

Lusi, i said "WANT" not "CAN" keep their wife obediant. That's why i am here, to get some tips from the gurus who have been able to tame the beast.

So umm my parents have found this young girl for me to marry. She's like 19. So umm wanted to ask the older people here on some tips to keep a desi wife under control so that she could respect my parents and be obediant to me. Please advice.

After reading the starter's point of view, I have realized that I need to prepare myself incase he has any of those making me obedient plans.
So while you are giving advices to keep the wife obedient, please shed some light on keeping the husband obedient too.

one of my friend came to me probably a day before I was getting married earlier this year. And apart from other things he said, he told me that I should ask my new bride first thing on wedding nite to get up and give me a glass of water so that the knows from the moment go that she shud be obedient and do whatever and whenever ordered.
