Well mostly take fruits and vegetables before exams , as they are not only so low in calories they hardly make a dent in your daily intake. , but also high in fiber (read: your tummy won’t grumble an hour after eating them) :)

Actually in embarrassing situations such as this I tend to start making fun of myself before others do, so it usually ends up not being such a big deal.

You can just come out and express to the teacher, "I promise its not a remote system giving you the right answer on the test"
