then I will accept the rumour, but will not change my realtionhsip with that person, though wil try to validate the rumoor through cross refrences

So lets say that X2 tells me that AQ bad mouths me behind my back.. here is what I may do over the period of time

  1. will not change my freindship with AQ
  2. see if x2 would gain any advantage by spreading the rumour
  3. ask X2 if I can talk to AQ about it.
  4. May talk to AQ about it and ask him to confirm.

so at the end, its not just about the person who is sharing that rumour with me, but also about the person to whom that rumour is associated with

I took AQ and X2's example just cause they are good freinds of mine
