USResident brother,
I understand the perspectives you presented here. In my previous post I addressed the topic of “Knowledge” which should not be confused with “Information”. I might be wrong but in my personal opinion knowledge is related to moral values which makes us humans and Information addresses all the other aspects which helps humans in development in technology and other fields of life.
For example, some of my colleagues are super dedicated in PhD studies and have better “Information” than others regarding their field, as they are very professional, but their manners, their character, their rudeness, their greed…etc. might suggest that they either don’t have good knowledge or they didn’t absorb good knowledge that they come across, because when asked about anything related to moral values, they rarely have anything to share.
You may call them scholars (due to PhD degree) of information but not scholars of Knowledge.
p.s. Forgive me if you feel I don’t make sense here, but that is how I sincerely feel and honestly understand.
I think this is an artificial semantic barrier to say knowledge and information are different. Information is knowledge communicated. I would rather leave it at morals rather than mix it with knowledge.
