i was actually proposed by a guy two weeks ago.....of course i said no i dont plan on getting married for atleast 10 years
well i think i got my first ristha when i was 14 
i think they first saw me me in mamos shadi cuz dats the tym my mamo got married i and the ristha came from aunties syd of familiy 
.My parents neva mentioned it , they just dun talk about such things with me:D, i just found out myself this summer when i went tu pak, choti nani told me dat:hehe:
cos .. the poster wants to know how others feel . and has also .recieved a rishta . and want to compare feelings if its ok to feel what others felt . or is anxious to get a rishta

I'm 18 and my mom told me about one a few days ago, so I was wondering if it's normal to get a rishta at this age :)

The lady asked me all these questions at a party and then asked my mom if I planned on finishing high school because her son wants a stay-at-home wife. LOL

Had some when i was younger at school and i flipped out and said NOOOOOOOO because i wasn't ready - now i am 23 have had a few more, rejected many but finally agreed to marry a handsome looking sweet guy finally

First (and only :D) one at 21.. around same time found out abt one i had gotten 4-5 years earlier taht my dad rejected.. i never knew about it....

well my parents never dicussed with me about rishta thing.. but my maa g told me that i was 14 and since then poeple were asking my parents for my rishta.. obviously they didnot even considered at that time.. i married at the age of 24 after completing my education.. btw i m 26 now

because they think the girl is naive and will be less educated than the guy at this age most probably so she can be easily controlled and dominated.

14- long time back - my dad refused
I got my first and the last rishta at the age of 18,got married at 19..and Alhamdulillah enjoying every second of my married life with “hubby dear”.
When my my Ammi told me about it…i was just giggling..but was really nervous from inside.I was so excited to do the istakhara because he was the kind of guy i always wanted to marry and Alhamdulillah it turned out good:).
