That's my biggest fear with tailors. If they screw it up...there is nothing you can do about it! On top of that...their nakhras...ufff!

I can agree with the nakhras.. always mom has to alter clothes stiched by tailors because the fitting is not done properly..

No, in Karachi. In Pakistan since everyone has mobiles they use them to access the net too.

I always had. i got some dresses done from lahore and each dress was of different size......expecially shalwar are too long.

He's in Hyedri North Nazimabad. Back of hyedri market, Name of the shop in New Jadeed Tailors. He's not very fancy hi fi type though.

Thanks eatern- u are the best!! So if I were to send him the pic online...he tries to make exact replica of it right? Does he buy kapra himself and does work them ??

Look on the upper left corner to check ur Pms. The tailor give sthe cloth to the kaam wala, and the replica is not always teh same. You have to talk to him and there's always a risk. Ask him if he can do it and discuss everything with him. I have had clothes that didn't turn out this good. But he is reasonably priced so even if the clothes don't turn out 100% its still good. Do keep in mind that the clothes may not turn out 100%. Yes, he can buy the kapra or have someone deliver it to him. I would suggest to all of you who asked to first give him something relatively cheap and then see if it turns out as you wanted!

eastern11: Please pm me, too. I am looking for a tailor in Karachi who is capable and competent. This one of yours did a fine job on just mobile communication and pictures. My darzi ruined my very simple shalwar kameez by putting in a bum zip and is refusing to replace it.

To all who have asked about my tailor's information, just to let you know that he like other tailors may not always be upto the mark. Also, everyone's choice and idea of "a good thing is different" so plesae proceed on your own risk. Thanks!!
