i lost about 15 lbs before mine. i started working out in april and had lost most of it by my wedding on august 5th. the key is to eat less (portion control), eat better (LOTS of veggies, lean meat, and water), and work out as much as possible. push yourself, if you have to- i was working out 5 days a week- 45 minutes of cardio, followed by 20 minutes of weights. and if you can, work out early in the morning. for me, that meant being extra careful when eating during the day- i knew i'd worked my ass off and i knew i needed to keep it up, so i was choosing better meal options and being really careful with making sure i drank enough water. my skin also looked amazing! yay!
one of my favourite lunches was this salad i made - i don't like leafy salads and i like a lot of crunch- so i'd chop up an apple into bite-sized pieces, add in half a sliced cucumber- nice chunky slices, throw in a chopped green pepper (delicious and juicy), and add in a handful of cherry tomatoes. you don't even need dressing on this one because all the ingredients have their own flavour. and if i wanted to be extra schmancy, i'd add in some cubed cheese. deeelicious!
