I got married in April and started training in October the year before.. so about 6 months..
make sure your diet is good.. try and stay away from the junk food but definitely give into cravings for sweets etc if u have any.. otherwise ull jst be eating wrong foods to make up for a piece of chocolate or cake..
my breakfasts were usually a mixed veggie and cheese frittata or oatmeal.. with a cup of coffee.. i drank about 2 - 1L bottles of water throughout the day and even though it might sound like ALOT I added crystal light or propel flavors to the water to make it a little more drinkable.. fruits were my forte.. i loved oranges and watermelon.. and as far as snacking was concerned I used to make sure I had pre-cut carrots/celery/broccoli etc to munch on when i got hungry..
lunch consisted of a romaine lettuce salad with a lot of veggies and light italian or poppyseed dressing..
for dinner I bought a whole bag of fish fillets (Sole) from Costco - I boiled carrots, Broccoli cauliflower and sweetcorn - I substituted the fish for grilled chicken breast at times.. also having a bowl of haleem or daal is good too!

If you work hard and religiously u should be able to lose about 20 lbs in 4 months the healthy way.. but please dont starve..
also make sure u follow a beauty regimen for ur skin throughout!!!
