Erm, how can a husband be ok with his wife or anyone for that matter not wearing hijab or not doing what Islam commands them to do. Should he not be striving to better himself and those around him so that they enter heaven together?

What is wrong is wrong so he cannot be ok with it at all BUT he can supplicate to God, improve himself and slowly attempt to bring those around him closer to God so that they too can fulfil the obligations God has placed upon them, nobody after all is perfect but to say he should be ok with it is probably the wrong choice of words.

I think you live in Pakistan where hijab is more common.
